Can I access meals if I don't yet have a Home Care Package (HCP)?

About Cookaborough for Senior Australians

Cookaborough is able to facilitate rebated meals to those Senior Australians who have an approved Home Care Package and have an appointed a Care Provider who supports them with their package.

Unfortunately, we are unable to service customers that have not finalised their Home care Package approval. This includes recipients of the Commonwealth Home Support Program.

Understanding the Difference Between the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Packages

Navigating government-subsidised home care options can be confusing, especially when it comes to understanding the difference between the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP).

Both programs help older Australians live independently at home, but they differ in the level of support and funding provided.

Cookaborough and Rebated Meals

Cookaborough currently supports HCP recipients with rebated meals. Unfortunately, we cannot accept CHSP referral codes at this time.

If you have an approved HCP and want to use your funding towards nutritious, locally made meals, we’re here to help. When you have finalised your HCP and have appointed your Care Provider, you can apply to receive meals via a Cookaborough meal business HERE.
